Make it more affordable for families
Double the traffic capacity of SH 1 & 2. Not easy but it would make a massive improvement
Block off sections of the inner city for pedestrians only, and look at implementing a free\cheap light rail loop for transfers to park and ride facilities
Invest into green public transport like electric trolley-buses, light-rail/trams and trains
Student discount on all public transport
Redesign pedestrian crossing to help pedestrians, not impair them, and make pedestrians THE priority of traffic lights.
Solve the traffic congestion at the Mt Victoria and Terrace Tunnels
make public transport from the wairarapa more user friendly. At the moment it's a joke for the price we pay for a ticket

Ditch the car
